About me

First and foremost my full name is: Dovydas Stanevičius
I’ve always been deeply connected to music, long before I started creating it. For 14 years, I was a professional dancer, competing in various tournaments, including the World Hip-Hop Championship hosted by IDO. I performed as a back dancer on major Lithuanian TV shows and shared stages with the country’s top music stars. One of my earliest performances was in the Kaunas National Music Theatre when I was only 9, and I later danced on the show “Šok su manimi.” (“Dance with me”)

In Lithuania, we have a saying: "Once you step on stage, you can’t get off," and that’s held true for me, but my journey quickly evolved from dancing to creating music. Piano lessons at school, under the guidance of a teacher who became my mentor, sparked my transition toward music creation. Soon after, I was playing in bands and singing in a vocal ensemble.

The defining moment of my music production career came unexpectedly during an Erasmus trip to Madrid, Spain. As I sat in a taxi heading to the airport, the realization hit me—I was going to become a music producer. It was a decision made in a slightly tipsy state, but one I’ve never looked back from. After returning home, I downloaded my first DAW and began my self-taught journey into music production.

I later moved to the UK to pursue a degree in Music & Sound Production, a decision that allowed me to expand my horizons beyond Lithuania and deepen my knowledge of music creation. Over the years, I’ve explored many genres and styles, but I’ve always returned to my deep love for techno and dance music. Today, my music ranges from house to hard techno, though I love experimenting with various sounds—sometimes just letting the music guide me without a set plan.

My Influences & Creative Process

Artists like Deadmau5, Sofi Tukker, Illenium, Apashe, and Salvatore Ganacci have played a big role in shaping my sound. I admire Deadmau5 for his progressive approach and Apashe for his bold fusion of modern and classical music. Sofi Tukker and Salvatore Ganacci showed me that each song can be entirely different while still maintaining a unique identity as an artist.

When creating, I rarely start with a clear idea. I prefer to experiment and see where the sounds take me, tapping into my love for all types of music. Whether it’s house or hard-techno, I embrace the creative process of discovery.

A large part of my work also stems from my experiences as a sound engineer. I’ve worked with artists, companies, and events, from creating music for brands like Omniva to developing SFX for Codyfight, a crypto game company. I’ve also DJ'd at major festivals, including the Wychwood Festival in the UK, and I continue to explore new opportunities and collaborations across the globe.

At the core of my work is a dedication to delivering projects with care and creativity. I believe every piece of music should evoke emotion, and I often take inspiration from everyday moments, whether I’m watching a film or simply reflecting on life.

My Vision & Values

Above all, my passion for music drives me. It’s more than a profession—it’s a part of who I am. Whether I’m working on my own projects or collaborating with artists, my goal is to create music that leaves a lasting impression. My clients describe me as positive, detail-oriented, and always committed to seeing a project through to its full potential.

Looking ahead, I envision myself working with artists and agencies worldwide, creating music for various projects while living fully immersed in the music world. This is what excites me most—knowing that each day will be dedicated to creating, performing, and connecting with others through sound.
